What is the reason why the Diesel Generator’s Noise Level is Higher than Gasoline Generator?

The difference between the diesel generator set and the gasoline generator set is the difference in fuel oil. The fuel of the diesel generator set is diesel, and the fuel of the gasoline generator set is gasoline.
Secondly, the type of ignition. In the cylinder of a gasoline engine, the mixture of fuel and air is ignited with a spark plug. In a diesel engine, the mixture is ignited with the heat of compression.
Then there is the mixing of fuel and air. In a gasoline engine, fuel and air are mixed in the carburetor and intake duct. In the diesel engine, the fuel and air are mixed after the diesel is sucked into the cylinder.
Fourth, the output power of diesel generators is much larger than that of gasoline generators. The maximum power of a general gasoline generator set is only 10kw, while the minimum power of a diesel generator set is 8kw, and the maximum power can reach 2000kw.
Fifth, the gasoline generator set is small in size and easy to move, while the diesel generator set is large and inconvenient to move.
The sixth use range is different. Gasoline generators are mainly low power, generally around 5kw, which can be used for general household lighting and air conditioning; diesel generators are generally used by enterprises and factories.
