How to identify the fault of diesel generator by smoke color?

When the silent diesel generator is working normally, the exhaust gas discharged is almost colorless and transparent. When working abnormally, the exhaust gas will be black, white and blue. Carefully analyze the causes of smoke and troubleshoot in time, which not only saves fuel, but also reduces wear and consumption, and maximizes work efficiency.
If diesel generator emits black smoke, it is mainly because the diesel fuel injected into the cylinder is not properly atomized or not burned out, and becomes black carbon particles under high temperature and high pressure, which are mixed and discharged in the exhaust gas. The prevention measures are as follows: if the diesel engine is overloaded, the injector should be checked and calibrated; if the injector is not working well, the injector should be adjusted until the atomization, range, pressure and injection area meet the standards; if the fuel supply time is too late, The fuel supply advance angle should be adjusted; if the clearance between the intake and exhaust valves is incorrect, the valve clearance should be adjusted according to regulations; if the air filter or muffler is blocked, it should be cleared in time.
If diesel generator emits white smoke, it is mainly because the temperature of the diesel engine is too low, and the diesel injected into the cylinder cannot be completely burned. The diesel will be discharged with the exhaust gas in the form of white mist or steam. In addition, the fuel injected into the cylinder contains water, which also makes the exhaust gas appear white. The prevention measures are as follows: if the engine is not warmed up enough and the temperature is too low, the water should be heated in the water tank before starting. If necessary, release the engine oil and add it after heating; if there is water in the fuel tank, check for leaks and blockages. Then, drain the water and oil, and add water-free oil; if the fuel injector is not working properly, the fuel injector should be adjusted or replaced; if the fuel supply time is too early, the fuel supply advance angle should be adjusted.
If diesel generator emits blue smoke, it is mainly caused by a large amount of oil entering the combustion chamber and burning. The prevention measures are as follows: if the oil sump oil is too much and exceeds the specified height, causing the oil to enter the combustion chamber, check the oil dipstick and discharge the excess oil; if the piston ring opening is in a straight line or the piston ring elasticity is insufficient, the piston ring Inversion and excessive wear or breakage may cause the oil to run up, the ring ports should be staggered, the piston ring should be installed correctly or the unqualified piston ring should be replaced; if the piston and cylinder sleeve are seriously worn, the piston and cylinder should be replaced; If the valve rod and valve guide are worn, causing oil to leak into the cylinder, replace the worn rod; if the oil level of the air filter is too high, causing the oil to be sucked into the combustion chamber with air, the excess oil should be discarded).
